Groundcover fabrics are woven from PP-tapes and are available in various colours, widths and weights.

Included in the Bonar TF range are products to suit both the standard day to day applications and many of the special requirements e.g. stitched wide width (multiple) panels and products complete with plantholes

In all grades, Bonar TF groundcovers offer a high water permeability that will eliminate puddling and thereby lessen the chances of plant disease.

Black groundcovers for horticultural use

Black groundcovers have a low light transmission under which weeds cannot germinate. They also protect the ground against damage from heavy rainfall and possible silting up. The groundcovers can either be placed directly on the ground after levelling or used in closed water recirculation systems above plastic foil or irrigation mats. BTF groundcovers are suitable for both inside and outside use.

White groundcovers

Many crops are extremely light sensitive. Therefore, in order to maximise groundcover effectiveness, Bonar TF produces a range of white groundcovers that reflect light back up onto the underside of the plants. Improved plant production is a direct result of the increased light intensity.

Green and brown groundcovers

Green and brown Bonar TF groundcovers are used for weed control in parks and public places. These colours offer improved aesthetics over the standard black product.
