Civil Engineering traditionally uses large quantities of graded fill, such as quarry aggregates, in structures such as sea defences, artificial islands and retaining walls.

These materials are expensive to buy and are often not immediately available from the local area.  This can cause problems when maintenance repairs are urgently required, for example in the aftermath of extreme events.

BTF geobags are designed to offer a low cost solution to this problem, enabling most insitu materials to be used as bulk fill.  BTF geobags (ranging from 0.5 to 10 m³) provide an innovative, cost effective, quick and reliable construction method thas has proven suitable for use in even the most difficult access sites.
